What Instruments Can I Play In This Band?
The Mornington Youth & Citizens Brass Band welcomes all brass and percussion instruments.
I don’t have my own instrument, can I still come?
Yes, we would still love to have you, even if you don’t have your own instrument. There are opportunities to loan instruments through the band. Contact us if you’d like to enquire or find out more information.
When and where are your rehearsals?
We rehearse every Tuesday night at The Pavilion, Flinders Drive in Mornington.
Training Band: 6:45pm - 7:30pm
The Band: 7:30pm - 9pm

What ages are involved in the band?
New members are always welcome no matter their age, skills or experience. The band is generally comprised of members aged between 8 - 80.
What is the cost of the Membership?
A yearly membership for the Mornington Youth & Citizens Brass Band is $80 for adults and $50 for students. You are welcome to come to the rehearsals before signing up to see if the band is the right fit for you.
Can I join as a beginner?
Absolutely. We welcome players of all abilities and provide development and mentoring opportunities for all players. If you are a beginner, we recommend attending the Training Band rehearsal.
Do you supply a uniform?
We do supply uniform items for community events. However, you don’t need to wear the uniform to rehearsals.
